If cricket is a religion in India, can it be anything less in Sri Lanka. It was not recently that Cricket anchored on the shores of Sri Lanka and baptized the natives into its ways. As is symptomatic of its subcontinent, cricket in Sri Lanka receives adoration that is clearly unparalleled.
In the light of the fact Sri Lanka is co-hosting the 2011 Cricket World Cup, measures are already underway to spruce up some of its stadiums.
